Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Leavitt Center?
The Leavitt Center is Pocatello's premier center for the arts. We offer a wide variety of performing and fine arts classes. We strive to build inner strength and confidence. Our mission is to bring the arts to the community and empower children, teens, and adults to find their voice in their art and improve their quality of life and the community.
What is our billing policy?
The Leavitt Center does not offer month-to-month classes, but all students must pay for the entire enrollment season. Classes require signing up for auto-pay with a card or ACH information to enroll. This does not mean your card/account will be charged immediately. With auto-pay, you will be charged for any registration fees, class supply fees, and the first month's tuition with your first payment. Monthly tuition will be deducted on the first of the month of every season.
If you would like to pay in full, you will still need to enroll in autopay in order to be added to the class. Then, contact the office, and you will be able to pay in full with cash, check, or card. No monthly autopay will be charged, as your account will not have a balance. Any payments made with ACH or card will include a minimal service fee. Don't hesitate to ask us any questions about charges, expenses, or payment options.

Is there a discount for multiple classes or multiple students within a family?
Programs and classes are automatically set up to include discounts for courses longer than 1 hour. Watch our website and social media pages for promos for multiple courses and/or student discounts.
What are the supply fees used for?
Every class has a supply fee for materials, supplies, costumes, props, etc., for the offered class. The fee directly benefits the students and their class experience. Any funds left over after the semester are used to purchase and upgrade equipment to improve future programs.

What is our enrollment policy?
At the time of enrollment, the student will be enrolled for the entire duration of each class season or year (whichever applies) and agrees to pay all tuition and fees associated with the class. Students also agree to attend all scheduled practices, rehearsals, stage days, performances, and any extra practices the instructor assigns. In addition, you are responsible for all payments associated with the class, even if the student drops out. You can try the class once before enrolling at no cost to ensure you are comfortable with the teacher and curriculum. Special circumstances require review from the board of directors.
